Paul Tortoriello, MD

Dr. Tortoriello has wanted to be a pediatrician since he was eight years old. He was taken with the expertise and inspired by the physician who removed his tonsils. Dr. Tortoriello pursued his career at Loyola University, University of Southern California and Rush University of Chicago. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center.

 

Impressed by the professional expertise of the physicians and the exceptional pediatric staff, Dr. Tortoriello chose to practice with Will County Medical Associates. At home, he and his wife, Kristin, are busy keeping up with their busy young children: Christian, Anthony, Kitty and Max. He relishes the unconditional and reciprocal love of being a parent. His children show him creativity, surprise, beauty and the unique wisdom of children. Dr. Tortoriello leads an active life spending any spare time exercising, snowboarding, surfing and traveling. He also enjoys spiritual pursuits, philosophy and the art of magic.

 

Feeling the joy of making a child feel better and inspiring children is part of what Dr. Tortoriello enjoys in his job. He also likes helping children with behavioral disorders succeed. He helps children and their parents identify good nutritional habits, safety precautions they can take when at play and other habits they can establish to support a healthy lifestyle. He counsels parents to love their child for who they are in that moment, and offers each parent guidance for approaching changes as his or her child matures.

 

Dr. Tortoriello is board-certified in pediatric medicine, and is affiliated with the following organizations: American Academy of Pediatrics; American College of Legal Medicine; American College of Laser Medicine and Surgery;
